Laura M. Raisty is an associate with the firm. Laura's practice concentrates on employment litigation and she has represented clients before numerous state and federal courts and agencies, including the EEOC, the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, and the New York State Division of Human Rights. She has handled individual and class action cases of employment discrimination and wage claims.
Laura is a graduate of Harvard University and Fordham University School of Law (cum laude and Order of the Coif), where she served as an editor of the Fordham Law Review. Prior to joining Morgan, Brown, and Joy, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard Owen in the Southern District of New York and practiced employment law at firms in New York City.
Laura is a member of the bars of Massachusetts and New York, and is also admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of the United States, the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States District Courts for the District of Massachusetts and the Southern, Eastern, Western, and Northern Districts of New York. She is also a member of the Labor and Employment Sections of the American Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and the New York State Bar Association.
