On Wednesday, November 14, 2012, Nicholas DiGiovanni will present a seminar on the topic of Recent Developments at the National Labor Relations Board and the Impact on Colleges and Universities.  The seminar will be held at the Boston bar Association at 16 Beacon Street in Boston from 12:30pm to 1:30pm.

This presentation will review recent NLRB decisions and initiatives in the areas of:
1. Private sector faculty unionization under the Yeshiva University case and the Board’s anticipated new interpretation of Yeshiva;
2. The employee status of graduate teaching assistants and possible reversal of Brown University case;
3. Social media, cases and policies;
4. New rules on bargaining units and employer solicitation policies;
5. New Board restrictions on the question of confidentiality of employer investigations;
6. Other recent Board cases of significance
