On November 16, 2006, Morgan, Brown & Joy Partner Michael Clarkson will speak on the United States Supreme Court’s recent landmark retaliation decision Burlington Northern & Santa Fe Railway Co. v. White in an American Bar Association 90-minute teleconference.  The teleconference will focus on the Court’s new standard for actionable retaliation, whether the decision has made it more difficult for employers to obtain summary judgment on retaliation claims, whether it is now easier for an employee to prove a retaliation claim than a discrimination claim, and other practical topics.
