Diane Saunders and Nathan Kaitz Speaking at MCLE Seminar (Boston, MA)
MBJ partners Diane Saunders and Nathan Kaitz will be among the presenters at a two-day program designed to provide a basic introduction to employment and labor law for the lawyer new to the field. The morning sessions present lectures by experienced faculty designed to teach you the statutes, caselaw, and practice pointers you need to understand the complex and ever-changing field of employment and labor law. You get the broad substantive overview you need to identify the issues involved in your clients' cases. The afternoon interactive sessions reinforce your knowledge by giving you the practical, hands-on experience necessary to represent your clients with assurance. These sessions are organized around the life cycle of typical employment situations and utilize a variety of techniques, including faculty demonstrations, role-playing, small-group workshop sessions, and discussion of hypothetical cases based on typical client situations. You "learn-by-doing" and get valuable practical experience crafting real-life solutions to common client problems.
The seminar, entilted Employment and Labor Law: MCLE BasicsPlus!®, will be held on Monday, November 9, 2009, and Tuesday, November 10, 2008, from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM, at the MCLE Conference Center, Boston, MA.
Diane Saunders will be presenting on employee leave issues while Nathan Kaitz will be presenting on the National Labor Relations Act.
