Morgan, Brown & Joy, LLP Adds Four New Attorneys

Morgan, Brown & Joy, LLP is pleased to announce that four attorneys have joined the firm.

Mairead Blue has joined Morgan, Brown & Joy, LLP as an associate. Prior to joining MBJ, Mairead spent time in the Commission Counsel’s office at the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. In her practice at MBJ, Mairead focuses on the litigation of state and federal employment disputes, including litigation under state and federal anti-discrimination statutes. She has successfully represented clients in front of state and federal anti-discrimination agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. Mairead counsels clients on labor and employment related matters, providing advice on employer compliance with state and federal leave laws, state and federal anti-discrimination laws, harassment, retaliation, reasonable accommodation and internal sexual harassment policies and guidelines. Mairead has experience mediating employment-based claims prior to hearing or trial, and drafting the resulting settlement agreements.

Allison Cherundolo has joined Morgan, Brown & Joy, LLP as an associate. Prior to joining MBJ, Allison was an associate at Melick & Porter, LLP. In her practice at MBJ, Allison counsels and represents employers in a variety of labor and employment matters. In her employment litigation practice, Allison defends employers in a wide range of workplace claims, including employment discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge and wage and hour disputes. In addition to her litigation practice, Allison provides clients with day-to-day counseling on a variety of employment issues.

Desiree Murphy has joined Morgan, Brown & Joy, LLP as an associate. Prior to joining Morgan, Brown & Joy, LLP, Desiree was Labor Counsel in the Department of Labor Relations for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority. In her practice at MBJ, Desiree represents employers in a variety of labor and employment matters. Desiree is experienced in counseling employers on claims of employment discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, breach of contract, and wage and hour disputes. Her practice also includes representing employers in collective bargaining as well as grievance and arbitration proceedings.

Amy Silverman Ostiguy has rejoined Morgan, Brown & Joy, LLP as an associate. Prior to joining MBJ, Amy was an associate at Rose, Chinitz & Rose. In her practice at MBJ, Amy represents and advises employers in a wide range of employment matters. Her litigation experience includes defending employers from claims of wrongful termination, breach of contract, discrimination, and retaliation. She also has experience in non-compete litigation.
