On Wednesday, January 13, 2009, Morgan Brown & Joy will present another class in its series of training courses on employment law topics.
Jaclyn Kugell will discuss important new regulations under the Family Medical Leave Act ("FMLA") that will take effect on January 16, 2009. Topics presented will include the following:
(1) A review of the changes to the FMLA included in the new regulations
(2) Important clarifications that can assist employers in managing FMLA
(3) New obligations employers must comply with in administering the FMLA
(4) New forms issued by the DOL to assist in administering the FMLA
