Tracy Thomas Boland to Present at New England Chapter Meeting

October 10, 2018

Morgan, Brown & Joy partner Tracy Thomas Boland will present at the Hospitality and Financial Technology Professionals (HFTP) New England Chapter meeting on October 10, 2018 in Boston, MA. Boland will provide an overview of the Massachusetts Pay Equity Act, which went into effect on July 1, 2018.

Boland will review the requirements of the law and the Attorney General’s guidance, which further interprets employers’ obligations under the law. She will also explain how to undertake the “self-evaluation” that affords businesses great protection in the event they are sued under this law, and she will address some of the most commonly asked questions her clients have posed about how to comply with this law.

Boland is a member of and active speaker for HFTP. She represents her clients on the full range of employment law issues including counseling, training and litigation. Boland maintains strong relationships with clients with both a local and broader geographic presence that run the gamut from non-profit organizations to small businesses to businesses that are leaders in their respective industries. Boland is a frequent lecturer on traditional, novel and emerging employment law issues.

HFTP is recognized as the spokes group for the finance and technology segments of the hospitality industry with members and stakeholders spanning across the globe. The New England Hotel Chapter is dedicated to enriching the hospitality industry in Boston and the surrounding area.
