Morgan, Brown & Joy’s Damien M. DiGiovanni to Speak on the BBA’s Webinar, “Employment Law Under the Biden Administration”

Morgan, Brown & Joy attorney Damien M. DiGiovanni will speak on the Boston Bar Association’s (BBA) webinar, “Employment Law Under the Biden Administration,” on January 11, 2021. Panelists will discuss the developments they expect to see at the federal level during the Biden administration. DiGiovanni will cover the following: 

  • Anti-discrimination laws; 
  • Wage and hour laws; 
  • Leave laws; 
  • The National Labor Relations Act and the NLRB;
  •  The new administration’s approach to COVID-19 in the workplace. 

DiGiovanni represents public and private sector clients in various industries, including higher education, transportation, retail, public utilities, municipalities and health care, both in Massachusetts and across the country. His labor law practice includes day-to-day counseling to clients regarding contract administration and compliance with various state and federal labor laws, representing employers in collective bargaining, grievance arbitration, and in proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board, the Massachusetts Department of Labor Relations, and state and federal courts. He is also an experienced litigator, handling employment law matters involving discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, non-compete agreements and wage and hour class action lawsuits, including successfully arguing Casseus, et al. v. Eastern Bus Co. Inc., et al., before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.
