Morgan, Brown & Joy’s Damien M. DiGiovanni to Speak Virtually at MCLE’s Employment & Labor Law Program

Morgan, Brown & Joy attorney Damien M. DiGiovanni will speak virtually at the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education’s program, “Employment & Labor Law: MCLE BasicsPlus!®,” on November 16, 2021. DiGiovanni will participate in two sessions, “National Labor Relations Act/Chapter 150E,” and “Ethical Issues: Establishing Attorney/Client Relationships & What to Do with 11th House Phone Calls, Conflicts in Representing Multiple Clients, Use of Threats of Criminal Prosecution to Obtain and Advantage in a Civil Matter.” 

DiGiovanni represents public and private sector clients in various industries, including higher education, transportation, retail, public utilities, municipalities and health care, both in Massachusetts and across the country. His labor law practice includes day-to-day counseling to clients regarding contract administration and compliance with various state and federal labor laws, representing employers in collective bargaining, grievance arbitration, and in proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board, the Massachusetts Department of Labor Relations, and state and federal courts. He is also an experienced litigator, handling employment law matters involving discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, non-compete agreements and wage and hour class action lawsuits, including successfully arguing Casseus, et al. v. Eastern Bus Co. Inc., et al., before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.
