Morgan, Brown & Joy attorney Daniel R. Fishman has been named to the Boston Bar Association’s (BBA) 2020-2021 Public Interest Leadership Program (PILP) Class. This unique program serves as a platform for the next generation of Boston lawyers to learn from and connect with leaders in Boston’s legal, business and public service sectors and gain the critical skills to grow as an effective advocate and voice in the community.
The Public Interest Leadership Program (PILP) promotes civic engagement and public service by advancing the leadership role of lawyers in service to their community, their profession, and the Commonwealth. This selective program attracts a diverse group of talented, motivated attorneys who have graduated law school within the last ten years and demonstrated a commitment to pro bono and public service. After completing the 10-month program, graduates enter a growing network of over 200 accomplished alumni who provide mentoring and support to their successors.
Fishman advises employers on the often complex employer-employee relationship. With experience handling virtually every type of workplace allegation, Fishman counsels executives, in-house counsel and HR professionals on matters involving wage and hour, non-competition agreements and enforcement, discrimination and harassment, employee leave arrangements, and other important issues surrounding working relationships.
