Morgan, Brown & Joy Adds Karen D. Lane as Senior Counsel

Boston labor and employment law firm Morgan, Brown & Joy, LLP announces that Karen D. Lane has joined the firm as Senior Counsel. Lane previously practiced labor and employment law at Choate, Hall & Stewart, and served as Senior Legal Counsel, Employment Law at CVS Health in Woonsocket, Rhode Island.

Lane has experience in all areas of employment law, including hiring, separations, sexual harassment investigations, wage and hour issues, leaves of absence, reductions in force, reasonable accommodation issues, noncompetition agreements and enforcement. She has extensive experience in drafting and revising employee handbooks, employment policies, employment agreements and severance agreements. Lane has represented clients in multiple state and federal courts and agencies on a full range of employment law issues and has lectured practitioners on the emerging issues of noncompetition law. 

Lane is a graduate of the University of Richmond (magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa) and Boston College Law School (magna cum laude and Order of the Coif). She is admitted to the bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
