Morgan, Brown & Joy Partner Gregory A. Manousos Presents AISNE Webinar, “Pay Equity & Transparency Best Practices for Independent Schools”

Morgan, Brown & Joy partner Gregory A. Manousos presented the Association of Independent Schools in New England (AISNE) program, “Pay Equity & Transparency Best Practices for Independent Schools,” on August 13, 2025. During the program, designed for senior school leadership and HR professionals, Manousos provided an overview of current and upcoming laws governing schools’ efforts to provide equitable pay and reviewed federal and state pay equity laws. He also discussed best practices for developing salary ranges, conducting pay equity audits, and identifying unlawful pay disparities based on legal requirements.

Manousos is a litigator and counselor to colleges, universities, independent schools, businesses, non-profit organizations, and retailers. He helps clients navigate discrimination and harassment claims, Family and Medical Leave Act claims, denial of tenure claims, wage and hour disputes, and litigation involving non-competition agreements. He also works with colleges, universities, and independent schools in handling sensitive and complex litigation involving students, including cases involving sexual misconduct, other behavioral issues, and academic matters. A seasoned trial attorney, Manousos has tried more than 15 cases to verdict in jury trials, bench trials, arbitrations, and before administrative agencies.
