Overview
Sandra Preston is the Executive Director of Morgan Brown & Joy, overseeing all business operations including Finance, IT, Human Resources, Marketing, Payroll, and day-to-day operations.
With almost three decades of experience managing critical functionalities for prominent law firms, Sandy brings exceptional leadership and financial acumen to her role. She is a strategic visionary who is equally capable of leading change management, implementing process improvements, and driving operational excellence. Her expertise in financial operations, compliance, reporting, and project management is foundational and facilitates the firm’s ability to consistently deliver excellent client experiences.
As a collaborative and inclusive leader, Sandy fosters strong relationships between the firm’s business and legal teams, ensuring that attorneys can keep their focus on practicing law and cultivating client relationships. She is known for her curious mind, creative thinking and practical ability to improve systems and effectively apply resources that provide direct value to clients.
Prior to joining the firm, Sandy was the Chief Financial Officer of a mid-size, international law firm. In this role she led all financial operations and was a C-level executive member of the firm’s management team, impacting all aspects of firm operations. Her experience also includes serving as Director of Accounting and Controller for a Boston-based, mid-sized law firm known for its work in the technology sector.
