MBJ attorney Jeffrey S. Siegel was recently quoted in an article discussing the enactment of the New Hampshire Warn Act. The article, which first appeared on the website of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), discusses the notice requirements and other issues now facing employers in New Hampshire when confronted with a plant closing or mass layoff. The article also discusses other state Warn Act laws which provide notice requirements and penalties that may differ from the federal Warn Act.
A copy of the article is available here.
