Morgan, Brown & Joy’s Jaclyn L. Kugell to Serve as Conference Co-Chair; Gregory A. Manousos to Speak at the MCLE Employment Law Annual Conference

Boston, MA, November 14, 2019 —  Morgan, Brown & Joy Managing Partner Jaclyn L. Kugell will serve as conference co-chair and attorney Gregory A. Manousos will speak at the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) Employment Law 22nd Annual Conference, December 6, 2019, in Boston, MA. Manousos’ panel, “Jury Verdicts: the Big, the Bad and the Ugly; How to Get Them and How to Avoid Them,” will discuss best strategies to use when an employment law case is brought to a jury as well as what to look for to deliver a “big win” for a client.

Kugell is the Chair of Morgan Brown & Joy’s Management Committee, representing employers in employment litigation matters in Massachusetts Courts, United States Federal District Courts including Georgia, Kentucky, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Ohio and Rhode Island, and the United States Court of Appeals for the First and Eleventh Circuits. She advises employers on the variety of labor and employment law issues and regularly conducts seminars and training programs on unlawful harassment, preventing discrimination and fostering diversity, effectuating reasonable accommodations, effective and defensible disciplinary tools, supervisory skills, progressive discipline, lawful hiring practices, Family and Medical Leave Act, disability discrimination, and workers’ compensation statutes. Kugell is a regular speaker on employment law and also advises employers on the variety of labor and employment law issues.

Manousos’ practice focuses on the litigation of a broad variety of employment disputes, including discrimination and harassment claims, Family and Medical Leave Act claims, denial of tenure claims, wage and hour disputes, and litigation involving non-competition agreements.
