Morgan, Brown & Joy Adds Lily M. Monfort as an Associate
Boston labor and employment law firm Morgan, Brown & Joy announces that Lily M. Monfort has joined the firm as an associate. Monfort provides practical guidance to employers as they navigate workplace dynamics and assists companies in maintaining smooth daily operations while managing complex employer-employee relationships.
In her practice, Monfort helps employers craft strong employment agreements, develop effective company policies, facilitate human resources related activities, and resolve complex allegations of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and breach of contract. She is a seasoned litigator and is well-versed in resolving whistleblower matters, allegations of sexual assault and harassment of all types, and Title VII and Title IX. She has successfully argued cases before the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), and the Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA).
Prior to joining the firm, Monfort served as an Assistant General Counsel at the National Science Foundation (NSF) and as an employment litigator with the U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Office (ATF). Before attending law school, she began her career as a paralegal in the litigation groups of two mid-sized law firms.
Monfort received her J.D. from the University of Saint Thomas School of Law and her B.S. from Northeastern University.
