Boston labor and employment law firm Morgan, Brown & Joy announces that for the third consecutive year, Managing Partner Jaclyn L. Since the FMLA’s inception in 1993, Kugell reviews and enhances employer leave policies, advises employers on managing employee leaves of absence, and represents employers on claims brought under the FMLA, and related laws. An advocate for employment law training programs, Kugell leverages her extensive experience to deliver training sessions on vital workplace topics such as harassment prevention, diversity fostering, lawful hiring, and disciplinary practices. Her role as faculty co-chair for the MCAD Train the Trainer Program, which she’s held since 2001, further solidifies her reputation as an educator in the law.
She has been recognized as one of Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s “Top Women in the Law” and “Circle of Excellence,” and is a recipient of the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education’s Scholar Mentor Award.
