Kugell will moderate the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) program, “Milstein Lecture: The Supreme Court’s Shifting Docket—Does It Matter?” on October 13, 2026. Kugell will facilitate the lecture by Stephen I. Vladeck, the Agnes Williams Sesquicentennial Professor of Federal Courts at the Georgetown University Law Center, who will offer a holistic look at shifts in the Supreme Court’s merits docket and “shadow docket,” and the consequences of those shifts.
