Morgan, Brown & Joy Partner Alexandra L. Pichette Receives 2026 Top Women of Law Award from Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly
Boston labor and employment law firm Morgan, Brown & Joy announces that partner Alexandra L. Pichette has been named to the 2026 “Top Women of Law” list by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. This award recognizes the women attorneys and legal professionals shaping the future of the Commonwealth’s legal profession through leadership, excellence, innovation, and meaningful contributions to their communities. Pichette was recognized for her professional achievements, leadership within her firm and community organizations, commitment to advancing the legal profession, and dedication to mentoring and inspiring the next generation of legal leaders.
Pichette and fellow award recipients will be honored at a reception on November 5, 2026, at the Boston Marriott Newton in Newton, Massachusetts. The full list of 2026 honorees can be found here.
Pichette represents employers in labor and employment matters in state and federal court, in private arbitration, and before administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD), the Office of the Attorney General, the Department of Labor, the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, Office of the Labor Commissioner, and other state agencies. She also provides her clients with daily employment counsel and advice, and guides employer management teams in the preparation of employee handbooks, policies, personnel decisions and hiring practices, through employee separations, workplace investigations, and administration of employee leaves, and with respect to compliance with other state and federal employment statutes. She is a certified trainer, and regularly conducts anti-harassment and other employment trainings at client workplaces.
Pichette is also an experienced litigator, and has successfully defended clients in a variety of industries, including higher and secondary school education, insurance, retail and hospitality, health care, and public entities, with respect to allegations of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wage and hour violations, breach of contract, wrongful termination, and other employment-related torts. She has successfully obtained summary judgment on behalf of her clients in numerous cases, including recent matters alleging breach of contract and other equitable claims, claims for unpaid commissions, and allegations of wrongful termination and discrimination and retaliation.
