Morgan, Brown & Joy Partners Alexandra L. Pichette and Jeffrey S. Siegel Present on MCLE Program, “Moving for Injunctive Relief”

Morgan, Brown & Joy partners Alexandra L. Pichette and Jeffrey S. Siegel will be featured speakers on the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) program, “Moving for Injunctive Relief,” on September 22, 2025. Pichette, serving as chair of the program, will provide opening remarks and will present the session, “Elements of a Claim for Injunctive Relief.” Siegel will present, “Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) Versus Preliminary Injunction,” and “How to File a TRO or Preliminary Injunction.” Both will also join other experts in discussing best practices for seeking injunctive relief and the practical mechanics of how to go about obtaining an injunction in state and federal court in Massachusetts. A recorded webcast of the program will be available on October 7 and October 15. For more information and to register, visit here.

Pichette represents employers in labor and employment matters in state and federal court, in private arbitration, and before administrative agencies, including the EEOC, the NLRB, the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, the Office of the Attorney General, the Department of Labor, and California’s Department of Fair Employment and Housing and office of the Labor Commissioner and other state agencies. She also provides her clients with daily employment counsel and advice, and guides employer management teams in the preparation of employee handbooks, policies, personnel decisions and hiring practices, through employee separations, workplace investigations, and administration of employee leaves, and with respect to compliance with other state and federal employment statutes.

Siegel represents employers in virtually every labor and employment scenario. He counsels clients in day-to-day human resources matters, including employment policies and handbooks, wage and hour matters, employee compensation and classification matters, bonus and commission plans, layoffs, restrictive covenants, and employee leave issues. He regularly represents clients at administrative agencies and in court to defend employers from claims made by employees. As a significant part of his practice, Siegel also drafts agreements and litigates both at the preliminary injunction stage and thereafter claims related to employee mobility, including noncompetition, nonsolicitation and trade secrets agreements and trade secret statutes.

MCLE is the Massachusetts legal community’s premier provider of hands-on educational programs and reference materials. Its particular focus is applied law: practical, highly concrete training for attorneys in the essential elements of professional practice.
