Morgan, Brown & Joy partner Ryan W. Jaziri will moderate the panel, “The Latest in Labor Law,” as part of the Massachusetts Municipal Association’s (MMA) Annual Meeting and Tradeshow on January 20, 2023. Jaziri will lead a discussion about the most recent trends and evolutions in Massachusetts employment and labor law, including significant court cases, legislation on workplace safety, civil service, collective bargaining, pensions, and more. Jaziri represents employers in labor and employment matters locally and nationally across various industries, including higher education, retail, health care, municipalities, and small businesses. As a litigator, he defends employers in claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, breach of contract, restrictive covenant violations, and wage and hour lawsuits. Jaziri regularly appears in federal and state courts, as well as before government agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, U.S. Department of Labor, and similar state agencies across the country. His labor law practice includes representing employers in collective bargaining, grievance arbitrations, and unfair labor practice charges. Jaziri has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by New England Super Lawyers in the field of labor and employment law multiple times.
The MMA is a membership association representing the interests of the cities and towns of Massachusetts.
