Morgan, Brown & Joy’s Tracy Thomas Boland to Speak at NEHRA’s Virtual 2020 HR Legal Summit
Morgan, Brown & Joy Attorney Tracy Thomas Boland will speak at the Northeast Human Resources Association’s (NEHRA) 2020 HR Legal Summit, which will be held virtually on May 14, 2020. Boland’s virtual session, “Effectively Managing Furloughs, Layoffs and Reduction in Hours,” will cover furloughs, layoffs and unemployment benefits. Boland will specifically discuss how and when to use furloughs and layoffs as well as legal and practical pitfalls and advantages. She will also discuss how to navigate unemployment benefits and the impact that current benefits may be having on businesses.
Boland is a Partner at Morgan Brown & Joy, LLP. She counsels clients on the full range of employment law issues from hiring to firing including, performance management, investigations, wage and hour issues, leaves of absence and the accommodations process, discrimination and harassment issues and investigations and reductions in force.
