Mark Whitney to Present at NH Bar Continuing Legal Education Seminar -- Litigating Employment Cases (Concord, NH and Live Webcast)

On October 17, 2014, Mark Whitney will be among a panel of presenters at a day-long seminar entitled "Litigating Employment Cases."  The seminar is sponsored by the New Hampshire Bar Association as part of its Continuing Legal Education program, and will be held at the Bar Association's offices in Concord, NH.

Mark will be presenting on the topic of Ethical Challenges Faced by the Employment Lawyer.

Learn from experienced practitioners strategies on forum selection and litigating at the Commission for Human Rights, EEOC or in state or federal courts; propounding effective written discovery from the plaintiff ’s and defense perspective; winning deposition strategies of key parties and witnesses; the interplay of trial preparation and the drafting and filing of dispositive motions; and ethical challenges such as contact with represented persons and employees, use of social media, representing multiple clients, and the tri-partite representation when employment practices liability insurance is involved. This fast paced and interactive session will include a mock cross examination of the plaintiff and plenty of forms, pleadings and samples of discovery requests.
