Morgan, Brown & Joy Attorneys Alexandra L. Pichette and Daniel R. Fishman Present at 2026 BBA Employment Law Conference

Morgan, Brown & Joy attorneys Alexandra L. Pichette and Daniel R. Fishman will present at the Boston Bar Association’s (BBA) 2026 Employment Law Conference on April 15, 2026.

Pichette, a member of the conference Advisory Committee, will present on the session, “Charging Ahead: Navigating Current and Anticipated Changes to your Employment Law Practice before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (‘EEOC’) and the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (‘MCAD’),” addressing the EEOC’s focus on “reverse discrimination claims” and priorities under the Trump administration, the distinctions between the Charge stage of a discrimination claim before the EEOC and the MCAD, and the impact that the MCAD’s proposed revisions to its procedural regulations may have on practitioners and parties appearing before the MCAD.

Fishman will present on the panel, “Navigating Employee Speech in a Fraught Era,” exploring employees’ rights to speak on controversial topics outside of work as well as employers’ powers to institute guardrails on what an employee can publicly say that might affect the workplace.

The conference will tackle the pressing legal issues in the workplace, with experienced practitioners sharing strategies for handling complex cases involving restrictive covenants, confidential information, and trade secrets. For more information and to register, visit here
