Morgan, Brown & Joy Attorneys Named to Boston Magazine’s 2025 “Top Lawyers” List
Boston labor and employment law firm Morgan, Brown & Joy announces that partners Jeffrey S. Siegel and Andrea E. Zoia were named to Boston Magazine’s 2025 “Top Lawyers” list in the category of Labor & Employment. The publication’s “Top Lawyers” edition recognizes the best and most widely recognized lawyers in the Greater Boston area for excellence in their legal field.
Siegel represents employers in virtually every labor and employment scenario. He counsels clients in day-to-day human resources matters, including employment policies and handbooks, wage and hour matters, employee compensation and classification matters, bonus and commission plans, layoffs, restrictive covenants, and employee leave issues. He regularly represents clients at administrative agencies and in court to defend employers from claims made by employees. As a significant part of his practice, Siegel also drafts agreements and litigates both at the preliminary injunction stage and thereafter claims related to employee mobility, including noncompetition, nonsolicitation and trade secrets agreements and trade secret statutes.
Zoia handles a variety of employment matters facing businesses. A significant part of her practice involves providing day-to-day employment law counsel and advice. She advises in-house counsel and human resource professionals with wage and hour issues, workplace investigations, drug testing, hiring practices, employment policies and handbooks, reductions in force, and employee leave matters. Due to her deep experience with employment laws and compliance, clients regularly invite her to conduct onsite trainings on the prevention of unlawful harassment and on other employment matters in the workplace.
Boston Magazine compiled the guide by inviting lawyers in the area to nominate up to three of their peers in a select number of specialties. The top nominees in each specialty were then reviewed by an advisory board of select lawyers and are chosen for their credentials and the high number of votes they received.
