Kugell is an established employment lawyer who counsels business owners and management through virtually every scenario surrounding the employer-employee relationship. He also works with colleges, universities, and independent schools in handling sensitive and complex litigation involving students, including cases involving sexual misconduct, other behavioral issues, and academic matters. A seasoned trial attorney, Manousos has tried more than 15 cases to verdict in jury trials, bench trials, arbitrations, and before administrative agencies.
Scott is a litigator and employment lawyer defending and advising employers. She helps companies navigate workplace allegations such as employment discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, Family and Medical Leave Act, breach of contract, and wage and hour class actions, among others. In addition to appearing in federal and state courts, Scott regularly appears before government agencies including the EEOC, MCAD, Department of Labor, and other state agencies. She also provides daily employment advice for in-house counsel and human resource professionals. In her labor law practice, Scott’s experience includes representing companies in both representation and unfair labor practices proceedings at the National Labor Relations Board and Massachusetts Department of Labor Relations. She also represents employers in collective bargaining efforts.
Spacone represents employers in a wide variety of labor and employment matters. As an employment litigator, he defends employers against claims related to workplace discrimination, retaliation, and sexual harassment, among others. He also provides counsel to employers regarding daily workplace matters, including the preparation of employee handbooks, hiring, wages, discipline, termination, and leave. He has represented clients across many industries, having obtained favorable outcomes for clients in the insurance, education, food processing, and healthcare industries. Beyond employment, he has extensive experience as a commercial litigator in disputes involving contracts, intellectual property, and real estate.
