Boston labor and employment law firm Morgan, Brown & Joy announces that it has elevated attorneys Jeffrey T. Collins and Aaron A. Spacone to partner.
Collins is an experienced trial lawyer and litigator who represents management in all aspects of employment law, including advice, counseling and litigation in state and federal courts, as well as before administrative agencies. His practice involves working closely with clients to provide practical advice on hiring, discipline, termination, personnel policies, discrimination, retaliation, leave, contract disputes, and wage and hour compliance. Prior to joining Morgan, Brown & Joy, Collins served with distinction for 18 years as an Assistant Attorney General in Massachusetts, where he tried numerous cases to verdict in state and federal courts, and argued appeals in appellate courts of the Commonwealth.
Spacone represents employers in a wide variety of labor and employment matters. As an employment litigator, he defends employers against claims related to workplace discrimination, retaliation, and sexual harassment, among others. Spacone also provides counsel to employers regarding daily workplace matters, including the preparation of employee handbooks, hiring, wages, discipline, termination, and leave. He has represented clients across many industries, having obtained favorable outcomes for clients in the insurance, education, food processing, and healthcare industries. Beyond employment, Spacone has extensive experience as a commercial litigator in disputes involving contracts, intellectual property, and real estate.
