Morgan, Brown & Joy Partner Joseph P. McConnell Presents on MCLE Program, “State of the Law on Free Speech in the Workplace & School”
Morgan, Brown & Joy Partner Joseph P. McConnell will present on the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) program, “State of the Law on Free Speech in the Workplace & School,” on January 30, 2026. Along with fellow presenters, McConnell will focus on how employers in private and public higher education balance permissible free speech, academic freedom, and potential unacceptable behavior. The session will provide an overview of the employee, student, and management points of view on what political and social self-expression is protected, and where the boundaries lie, on campuses and in the schools.
A recorded webcast of the program will be available on February 16th and 24th. To learn more and register, visit here.
