Morgan, Brown & Joy’s Damien M. DiGiovanni Presents at MBA CLE Program, “Considerations for Settling Employment Cases”

Morgan, Brown & Joy partner Damien M. DiGiovanni presented at the Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA) CLE Program, “Considerations for Settling Employment Cases,” on December 8, 2022.  The program covered key issues and considerations regarding employment law claims from both the employer and employee perspective. DiGiovanni served as a panelist and discussed Medicare provisions in employment settlement agreements. 

DiGiovanni represents public and private sector clients in various industries, including higher education, transportation, retail, public utilities, municipalities and health care, both in Massachusetts and across the country. His labor law practice includes day-to-day counseling to clients regarding contract administration and compliance with various state and federal labor laws, representing employers in collective bargaining, grievance arbitration, and in proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board, the Massachusetts Department of Labor Relations, and state and federal courts. He is also an experienced litigator, handling employment law matters involving discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, non-compete agreements and wage and hour class action lawsuits, including successfully arguing Casseus, et al. v. Eastern Bus Co. Inc., et al., before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.
