Morgan, Brown & Joy’s Daniel R. Fishman Completes BBA’s 2020-2021 Public Interest Leadership Program Class

Boston labor and employment law firm Morgan, Brown & Joy announces that firm associate Daniel R. Fishman has completed 10 months of leadership training as part of the Boston Bar Association’s (BBA) 2020-2021 Public Interest Leadership Program (PILP) Class.

The BBA’s PILP provides intensive leadership training to rising stars in the Boston legal community. Fishman was among a class of 40 members to conclude a year of challenges, collaboration, and professional growth. As a program graduate, Fishman joins a growing network of over 200 accomplished alumni who provide mentoring and support to their successors.

The Public Interest Leadership Program (PILP) promotes civic engagement and public service by advancing the leadership role of lawyers in service to their community, their profession, and the Commonwealth. This selective program attracts a diverse group of talented, motivated attorneys who have graduated law school within the last ten years and demonstrated a commitment to pro bono and public service. After completing the 10-month program, graduates enter a growing network of over 200 accomplished alumni who provide mentoring and support to their successors.

Fishman advises employers on the often complex employer-employee relationship. With experience handling virtually every type of workplace allegation, Fishman counsels executives, in-house counsel and HR professionals on matters involving wage and hour, non-competition agreements and enforcement, discrimination and harassment, employee leave arrangements, and other important issues surrounding working relationships.

Morgan, Brown & Joy announced Fishman’s appointment to the 2020-21 PILP class in January 2021.
