Morgan, Brown & Joy’s Daniel R. Fishman Selected as 2026 Excellence in the Law Honoree by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly

Boston labor and employment law firm Morgan, Brown & Joy announces that attorney Daniel R. Fishman has been named a 2026 Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly Excellence in the Law honoree in the category of “Up and Coming Lawyer.” Fishman is recognized among lawyers in the Commonwealth who have been members of the bar for 10 years or less, but who have already distinguished themselves in the Massachusetts legal community and appear poised for even greater accomplishments. Fishman and fellow honorees will be celebrated at a reception in Boston on March 24.

Fishman partners with executives, human resources professionals, and in-house counsel to navigate employment law challenges. While keeping business goals at the forefront, he provides day-to-day advice on topics like workplace investigations, accommodations and leaves, wage and hour compliance, employee handbooks and policies, hiring, performance management, terminations, and reductions in force. An experienced litigator, he regularly defends employers in state and federal courts, as well as before administrative agencies such as the EEOC, the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, and numerous other state anti-discrimination agencies nationwide.

Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly reports decisions issued by all the state and federal courts in Massachusetts, as well as changes to court rules, verdict and settlement reports, bar-discipline notices, and all other news vital to attorneys in the commonwealth. It also covers hundreds of rulings from state and federal trial courts in Massachusetts.
