Morgan, Brown & Joy Attorney Tracy Thomas Boland is speaking on a BlumShapiro webinar for school business officers on October 6, 2020. Boland’s session, “Navigating HR & Employment Law Challenges,” will discuss performance management, maintaining a harassment-free culture of respect and sensitivity, properly classifying employees as exempt/non-exempt from overtime and tips on being both compliant and consistent with background checks. Boland is a Partner at Morgan Brown & Joy, LLP. She counsels clients on the full range of employment law issues from hiring to firing including, performance management, investigations, wage and hour issues, leaves of absence and the accommodations process, discrimination and harassment issues and investigations and reductions in force. Boland also drafts and revises employee handbooks, employment agreements and severance and settlement agreements.
