Several Morgan, Brown & Joy Attorneys Named to Boston Magazine’s Inaugural “Top Lawyers” List
Boston labor and employment law firm Morgan, Brown & Joy is pleased to share that Gregory A. Manousos, Jeffrey S. Siegel, and Andrea E. Zoia were named 2021 Top Lawyers by Boston Magazine. The publication’s first-ever Top Lawyers edition recognized the best and most widely recognized lawyers in the Greater Boston area for their excellence in legal work.
Manousos is a litigator and counselor to colleges, universities, medical institutions, independent schools, businesses, non-profit organizations, and retailers. He helps clients navigate discrimination and harassment claims, Family and Medical Leave Act claims, denial of tenure claims, litigation involving students, disputes concerning wage and hour claims and non-competition agreements, and compliance with diversity, equity and inclusion goals and requirements.
Siegel represents employers in virtually every labor and employment scenario. He advises on and prepares restrictive covenant agreements, including agreements under the Massachusetts Noncompetition Agreement Act, and litigates to enforce or defeat non-competition, non-solicitation, and trade secret matters. He also counsels clients in day-to-day human resources matters, including employment policies and handbooks, wage and hour matters, bonus and commission plans, layoffs, and employee leave issues.
Zoia handles a variety of employment matters facing businesses. She advises in-house counsel and human resource professionals with wage and hour issues, workplace investigations, drug testing, hiring practices, employment policies and handbooks, reductions in force, and employee leave matters. Her litigation experience includes defending employers in a wide range of workplace claims including employment discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, breach of contract, and wage and hour class actions.
Boston Magazine compiled the guide by inviting lawyers in the area to nominate up to three of their peers in a select number of specialties. The top vote-getters in each specialty were then reviewed by an advisory board of select lawyers, chosen for their credentials and the high number of votes they received.
