Overview

Ryan Jaziri represents employers in labor and employment matters locally and nationally across various industries, including higher education, retail, health care, municipalities and small businesses. As a litigator, Ryan defends employers in claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, breach of contract, restrictive covenant violations, and wage and hour lawsuits.  Ryan regularly appears in federal and state courts, as well as before government agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, U.S. Department of Labor, and similar state agencies across the country.

Ryan’s labor law practice includes representing employers in collective bargaining, grievance arbitrations and unfair labor practice charges. He has served as chief spokesperson in collective bargaining negotiations and represents employers in proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board.

Ryan devotes much of his practice to counseling clients on a broad variety of day-to-day labor and employment matters, including workplace investigations, contract administration and interpretation, drafting employee handbooks and policies, wage and hour law compliance, employee accommodation issues, and drafting non-competition, non-solicitation and non-disclosure agreements.

Ryan has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by New England Super Lawyers in the field of labor and employment law multiple times. He is a graduate of New England Law Boston, where he was a published member of the New England Law Review. During law school, he interned at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office and the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Boston. He completed a one-year judicial clerkship at the Connecticut Superior Court following law school. Prior to joining Morgan, Brown & Joy, Ryan was an associate at a mid-sized firm in Connecticut where his practice focused on management-side labor and employment law.
