CLIENT ALERT: Massachusetts COVID-19 Emergency Paid Sick Leave to Expire on March 15, 2022

On February 28, 2022, the Massachusetts Executive Office for Administration and Finance notified employers that the COVID-19 Emergency Paid Sick Leave Program will end on March 15, 2022. Employers have until April 29, 2022 to submit an application for reimbursement for qualifying leave costs. Employers should notify their employees of the March 15, 2022 end date and submit all outstanding reimbursement requests through the State’s MassTaxConnect website. Information on how to submit a reimbursement can be found on the State’s website.
